But really, looking at the Nxperia Thing, given how close the relarionship Is between the EU and America, and given how quickly this happened after the Chinese rare earths ban, I surmise this was trump’s team’s reaction to getting banned from rare earths. Chinas response must therefore be to maintain the course and escalate not just against Dutch companies but also to the master, the Anglo Americans as well.

I find it utterly ridiculous that a European government can jsut get up and seize a company that China legally bought and paid for. Bunch of thieves acting no different from India while calling their "values" developed and international.
It just sets a precedent that China can use to seize European companies & their shares in China. But in a larger sense it is just more evidence the EU is not geopolitically autonomous and needs to be treated as an arm of the US global empire.
For much of the post Trump world, many Chinese deluded themselves into thinking that China just needs to pivot to the EU as an alternative to the US. But step by step the trans-Atlantic system is tightening, the EU has no spine and its leaders are compromised. This is why I’ve always advocated for improving internal demographics and consumption instead of relying on Western markets.

We honestly should have seen this comming because if you look at the past actions of the west you would conclude that their real values are hypocrisy and grifting.
