The question remains: Do pan-Turkism aspirations live and die with Erdoğan, or is he merely tapping into a widely felt—yet often unspoken—sentiment of historical revisionism and romanticism among his people? If this sentiment is merely an Erdoğan pipe dream, then why should it be a cause for concern? The reality, however, is that pan-Turkism is not just his personal ambition but a genuine aspiration shared by many Turks.

China, Russia and Iran just needs to remind them of the current state of the Turkish economy, high inflation and dropping quality of life under Erdogan. Hopefully, they are smart enough to realize which side to align with.
IMHO if Stans haven't united into a single federation with each other, I don't think Turkey will be able todo it either if there's any narcissism of small differences. Often times the Turkic people's worst enemy is other Turkic peoples. However, I could be wrong and regardless, its probably not a good idea to welcome Turkey into Central Asia.

Anyone who thought Anglo countries are vassals of US should know they are a willing co-federation of countries who will always act together on foreign policy. They are a co-operatative empire. European are willing allies of US too, not vassals. They want to ally with US to fight China, not forced to it.
Creating a pan-Turkic world has been in the works for decades but there've always been speedbumps. Its hard for Turkey to spread soft power through language, since Orghuz Turkish is not mutually intelligible with the Turkish spoken in most of the Stans. The hardcore Islamism of Erdogan is a bit of a turn off as well since the Stans still retain the Soviet legacy of secularism.
Also what does Turkey have to offer? Turkey created a brotherhood identity with Azerbaijan by aiding them against Armenia. In Central Asia, they're too far away and too small to play the same security guarantor role that Russia and increasingly China are playing. Let's not speak of the economic part, they're midgets in this field.
Turkey has a bigger chance to capture its old empire in the Arab world than to have any kind of influence in Central Asia.
Incidentally, the harsh US actions against ZTE and Huawei since 2018 (sanctions, fines, kidnapping of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou, etc) were all originally initiated due to attempted sales of ZTE and Huawei telecom equipment to Iran. At the time, this just seemed like another example of US/Western hypocrisy as Iran's telecom infrastructure is actually overwhelmingly dominated by Western equipment makers such as Ericsson, Nokia, and Cisco. Now, it's clear that they wanted to keep Iran (and the World) on Western telecom equipment precisely for occasions such as these.
