Problem is in the very expensive urban areas where those types of jobs are concentrated, the costs of raising a family is so high that unless both partners are earning in that range, FIRE is not really attainable until age 50+. And the income tax rates (state and federal) in states like California and New York are ridiculous, you will be barely netting half of your gross income at those income ranges. 500k income in Bay Area is like 270-280k after taxes, and a single family home in a decent school district are 2.5-3.5 million with property taxes of 40-50k / yr.
That mostly only applies to people who actually want to raise kids in the West. I highly recommend against it as there's a high likelihood they'll end up as brainwashed West-licking drones.

The UK will pay a parking fee to India for hosting its stranded F-35B at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, where it made an emergency landing after encountering technical issues during Indo-Pacific exercises aimed at deterring China.

Initially the UK was reluctant to move the jet into a hangar due to its sensitive military technologies on board; however, after logistical issues arose, the jet has now been moved to the Air India hangar at the airport.

Can't they fuel it up enough to exit Indian airspace, then fly tankers from Diego to top it off?

India has got to be monitoring that plane like crazy.
