Since this get attention let me clarify.

- Current situation is Thailand and Cambodia have another border dispute.

- Thai PM family have a deep tied with former Cambodia PM and act pretty weak in negotiation tables cause peoples on both left and right to accuse her of being traitor to nation.

- Thai PM and former Cambodia PM have personal phone conversation and it got leaked by Cambodia side. The conversation indicate that Thai PM are pretty much on Cambodia side and shit talk about military that oppose Cambodia at border.

So, now Thai PM got attack pretty much from all side. Left wing faction that are pretty anti-China and pro-US (support by NED) want her to dissolving Parliament because they will be able to take majority of seats. While Right wing faction want her to be replaced to prevent left from taking over and prevent Coup d'état by military.

This about as simple as I can make because there are too many faction with different interest at play in TH politics.
It actually doesn't matter what wing. Crapping on your own military as head of state is a huge no. If you have nothing good to say, just don't say it.

Are they protected by the Chinese navy? Any coverage by the Chinese air force?
My understanding is no. Just like the Houthis did not strike Chinese ships in the Red Sea. It seems no one dares to strike Chinese ships in the Persian Gulf either. They don't even need a fleet to protect these two ELINT ships because their status alone in this world has become a shield of sorts.

Dassault be like, "Rafale is the most versatile aircraft out there. It offers supreme situational awareness with its unrivaled SPECTRA suit and although American planes like F-22 and F-35 may offer some stealth advantages, Rafale is definitely far ahead of anything China has to offer."

Dassault’s CEO just came out with a statement blasting Pakistan’s claim that it shot down Indian aircraft as “inaccurate”. What about the one they confirmed? Just repeating what the Indians are saying doesn’t make it true. India seems to do this getting people in “high” places to make stupid statements. Did India threaten to cut off further business if they don’t?

Is this why pita wasn’t able to be Pm?
Nah, he wasn't be able to secure PM position because his party was too obsessed about overthrow Thai monarchy. So, the other party didn't want to join them and establishment the government.

Anyway, in Thailand. Talk shit about military is pretty common since they actually give themselves a bad reputation with many coup attempt and corruption. However, Pita and his party dial up to the next level by declare that Thailand don't need military if leader is wise and TH military wouldn't win any battle anyway.
