If he doesn't lay down the Patrol points and other details then I'd assume that the LAC he shows is an "updated" one.
An updated LAC is technically not wrong. Just like how India updated its LAC in Galwan. LAC of India seem to change with time and pressure.
Than you clearly know nothing about him. So much for "not putting words in others mouths." He is actually anti BJP and has called out the ruling government on many things related to the current standoff. He would not post a "updated LAC" if it was changed as such. Oh, he also made a map of the historic LAC at Galwan, which is very similar to Detresfa's and shows China failed to shift it.
Keep in mind he has led patrols in the region decades ago. The same journalist who inteviewed Brig. RJS confirmed his reliability.

I haven't accused him of pro or anti-anything.
You can challenge my position easily by showing a historical map of Indian LAC at Hot Springs with some patrol points and it doesn't need to be from a specific person. And I'd update the conclusions I've made.
interesting how you are believing everything Shukla says, despite the fact he never served in Ladakh and is contradicted by all available evidence. Yet when Lt. Gen. Panag, who served in those exact locations decades ago, draws a map you don't like that is actually corroborated by other sources, like Detresfa, you think he is wrong.
Did I say I believe everything that a particular Indian soldier says or insists?
Interesting how you use the patrol points provided by Ajai Shukla for positions you seem convenient but avoid others that doesn't support your agenda. You have used his analysis for an year.
The Chinese Tibetan plateau. This plateau is the source of water for the major rivers of India, Pakistan, South East Asia and China.
The strategic value of this plateau cannot be overlooked or underestimated. Truly the rooftop of the world and China perches on top of it.
One other thing you need to take into account is that the Sino-Indian border is not geologically static. Many times soldiers use land marks like hills or streams to remark the border, but after an earth quake or land slams said land marks may not longer exist or has shifted.
