Could be an elevation effect where there's more UV. Typically would would want an UV filter in that scenario.

I removed my blue light filter on my phone , I got blinded. It was already very blue with the filter, but without filter, it's blinding how blue the sky is...

The photos really do make you feel it's like a whole vast emptiness that's really quiet frontier...vast and lonely place. Breath taking...
