When war with China starts, do not ever expect small skirmishess. The Chinese will make sure there aren't any future troubles for the next couple of generations. The only ones who are truly immune to this would be the US and Russia. You are expecting too much from India.

This isn't some high school fight where some teenager beats up another and lets them go as a message to others. China will go for the kill and whatever is left of the aftermath is the "demonstration".

Vietnam also tried to "demonstrate" their abilities but got their military and economy almost completely destroyed. The effects are still seen today.

Come on be fair, Vietnam was fighting already 30 years before Sino-Viet war.And even after they continued fighting until the dethroning of the red Khmers in Cambodia.They have balls

Attacking your enemy when they are weak only really applies when your enemy is equal or stronger than you. If Mike Tyson wanted to fight a random person on the street, he wouldn't be worried about whether the guy was feeling strong or weak.

As demonstrated on the thousands of posts here, China is significantly more powerful than India.

All countries have hyper nationalists - I think this fellow is one of them.

I generally agree with the strategy Chinese policy makers have had on India. Beat them geopolitically, support their enemies and turn their friends into Chinese allies. Respond to any Indian military incursions with overwhelming force and a gradual push of the LAC towards India.

Even if China encroach several hundred square miles of frigid land, it wouldn’t do 1/10th of the damage COVID is doing now. Glad they’ve got their priorities straight.

If it is it seems stupid in the extreme.

India was no match for China on its best day, and with COVID running rampant, now is a completely moronic time to go out looking to start fights they cannot hope to win.

What would be the game plan here? Get the masses whipped up and firstly they will take to the streets to protest and demand war. COVID superspreader events nationwide.

When the Indian government inevitably stops short of actual going to war, they will riot. More COVID superspreader events.

There is just no upside I can see to doing that for India.
