Find below an affirmation of a member "schrage musik" is the proof, further every defense news starts from the rumor to the maturity... remember when I posted the news in JF17 thread about new power plant for BLK 3, you jumped on the gun (as usual) with the slogan of FAKE & stupid which I proved correct later....

So my claim about pseudo intellectuals was not pathetic....

In which of the numerous cases where you claimed something ridiculous you were proven correct in the end? Honestly, stop with this nit-picking for once being correct.

And that's now the final off-topic post I accept.

While two JH-7As were waiting for take-off, their WS-9 engines released white "fumes" at idle RPM through low-pressure compressor bleed valves.

During a recent combat readiness patrol, two JH-7As flew in formations:

Noticeably, the lead plane had ruler-shaped formation stripes in front of its air inlets:

But the wingman only had two semicircular formation stripes on its ventral fins:

I heard that the PLAAF still operates 200+ of these fighter-bombers, and some of them are still receiving upgrades. It's likely that they will remain in active service for at least another decade as a complement of the more advanced J-16.

I doubt that. They are crash prone and have much lower payload. The JH-7A was an attempt to mitigate those issues but it kinda flopped.
I expect the PLA to entirely replace JH-7 with the J-16.
I mean just look at engine power alone. 2x 91 kN vs 2x 145 kN. Or the empty weights/max takeoff weights. 15t/28t vs 18t/35t.
It is also a lot worse in terms of range or flight ceiling.
