We have to be careful and should wait for any Azeri confirmation. It makes no sense for one side to keep putting such news up every few months with no outcome.

Another thing to consider: This news is coming in the background of serious corruption allegations against current air chief and consequent court martials of several people including Swift retort hero who did the whistle blowing on it. You will also see tons of PR efforts being done for the chief from some of these handles, which act like official unofficial mouthpieces for the forces. Such personal PR usually and traditionally has been limited to Army as Army chief in Pakistan usually needs to keep certain public approval to govern from the background and to extend their tenures. There is talk of the current AM seeking the same, probably the first in history.

All in all, it's unfortunate and erodes the institution.

Such news should be confirmed from both sides, could be true or could not be, just some wind of caution.

A journalist recently broke the news about the sale of JF-17. However, this same journalist had previously reported on Air Chief's corruption and the court martial of several senior air force officers.

It's interesting how some people are now ridiculing the journalist for lying about the corruption charges, but they choose to believe the news about the JF-17 sale. Personally, I would suggest taking the news with a grain of salt.

Most interesting part is the official unofficial handles are pushing this news as truth but corruption news to be false, despite them coming from same source.

Hence I'm suggesting a bit of caution.

Exactly my point ... let's wait for some official confirmation before we open the bottles of Champagne, since officially I haven‘t seen anything stating this and rumours tell us the same since almost two years …

India claims a 720m SAM deal with Armenia.
Maybe the JF-17c was already decided months ago. Both India and France say that they will help Armenia with air defense.

Lmao, is it the one with the AKASH missile defense system? The one where both missiles failed to hit a slow target drone in their recent joke of a "Fire Power Demonstration"?

EDIT: LMAO it actually is! I feel bad for Armenia for buying a lemon
