Then again i've not heard about PAF complaining about RD93.

The PAF/Army servicemen generally don't gripe about equipment in public. You won't see complaints about any specific equipment in the public sphere. That doesn't mean all their gear is flawless, they just don't whine about it in public.

As for the JF-17, the engineers I've spoken with are very happy with it, mostly because they see it as their own. It's like an attachment you'd have to a car if you assembled it in your own garage with your own hands.

Any opinions from the Pakistani Air Force personnel on J-10C?

It is very common to see in the forums how concepts are installed and remain tied to them for years. The issue of propulsion systems is one of them. China has been ready to replace the Russian engine in the FC-1 for some time now. In a short time you will see that Pakistan begins to equip its JF-17 with Chinese engines.

The only thing good on Tejas is probably its engine. If Jf17 manages to get an engine similar to or better than F414/EJ200 it'll be pretty neat. Not saying RD33/93 is bad, their lifespan are quite short. Maintenance became a burden on Mig29 users. Then again i've not heard about PAF complaining about RD93.
JF17-B3 will use Chinese WS-13E engine in near future.

What is the thrust output, dry and wet?
WS-13 basically twin brother of RD-93. almost same specifications except life hours improved.

WS-13E is totally new variant with combustion chamber redesign and its new name is WS-21. wet thrust is 95-100 kilonewtons. and solid speculation is, J-35 prototype equipped with this new variant WS-13E/WS-21..

not official from PAF but some inside source from PAF aviation enthusiasts. after first squadron, JF-17B3 will switch to Chinese engines. WS-13E is far better machine than RD-33/RD-93..

JF-17 is already 100 percent Chinese. during inspection Argentina choose Chinese WS-13 engine. and defense ministry confirmed. we have decided to go with Chinese propulsion if we buy this aircraft.
