Just heard there was a scramble at naha AB public day. Do we have the video of it? It was rather uncommon to watch a scramble from ground.

Are you on Okinawa, I used to live in a duplex on base, loved the Wanton Soup at the CAT terminal on Naha, AB, prior to living on base we lived in a concrete block bungaloo in the "boondocks", right against the sea wall, (part of our yard), and I could look across the bay and see Kadena, AB, and see traffic coming and going.

Sorry for confusion Brat. I mean I heard the news not I literally heard those jets took off and I've never been to Okinawa (would be nice to pay a visit though).

The first three on the 2nd pic are RF-4E no gun replaced by cameras or others clear on the last pics.
Japan is the last operator for this variant with Greece for she retired in 03/2017 normaly ; recently retired in South Korea and Turkey but they keep F-4E replaced by F-35A as for Japan.
