Re: J-20... What if -- T-50 is way better than J-20... Fantastic

Why? -- Because, China and Russia are mutually protecting each other backyard.

IMHO, the opposite is true. I think it is a misconception that China and Russia are good friends. Out of hundreds of years of coexistence, the two nations have been good with each other for only about 10 years. Before the 20th century, China and Russia were constantly fighting each other for centuries. When Soviets formed in the early 20th century, it formed an OK relationship with China's two political parties, Nationalists and Communists. even during the Chinese Civil War, The Soviets were more in favor of the Nationalists. It was not until they told Jiang Jieshi that they wanted Manchuria as a colony and was subsequently denied, they decided to go with the Communists and formed an alliance with the CCP. The alliance lasted only about 10 years. The Soviets and China began fighting again, which is the norm between the nations any way, since the 60's. Even now, the Sino-Russian border is still some of the most heavily defended border in the world. The fighting between the two nations was precisely the reason that Nixon formed an alliance with China in 1972. Also during two Sino-Vietnam conflicts, China only sent secondary units to Vietnam while the elite units were sent to the Sino-Soviet border. It clearly shows the suspicion China had on the Soviets.

So if there is any future conflicts involving China and another nation, the best that China can hope for Russia would be that Russia leaves the conflict alone. However, the most likely thing that Russia would do might be attacking China physically or benefit financially from the conflict. No one in the Chinese govn't would even dream about Russia helping them in their wildest dream.

so few years down the road when the KF-X is made public and if it looks like the J-20, can i say its a rip-off of the J-20? i mean the J-20 came first right?

sheesh.

No, China will still be accused of stealing the thing from the Koreans. How? They invented a time machine and went back to the future. While in the future, the Chinese stole the idea and design of the KF-X from the Koreans... :)

or one of the Qi masters in China used his power and sent his own mind to the future and stole the design of KF-X...

WTF I thought that the whole thing was a joke, apparently not...

KF-X isn't even a true 5th gen fighter. It doesn't hold a candle to the J-20.
