Why are the pics removed? Who removed them?
... By the poster or the forum administrator? Why?

Unless a clear photo appears, we can only guess the authenticity of these news; it would indeed be a fantastic scoop of finally seeing the Chinese's stealth fighter (4th/5th generation fighter) after such a long wait. Not to mention enduring all those PS and CG during these long years of waiting :D.

Just hope that this is not an elaborate hoax by some fan-boy ... :nono: :D

Also, why the dark circular shadow :confused:? Is the photographer trying to give us the impression that he is using a telephoto lens:confused:? If he is using a telephoto lens, might we suggest that he either get a better hood or don't use a hood at all? After all, it looks like a cloudy day from the photo.

Hope this is not just part of a hoax ...

I dont know why, but we've certainly seen the circular shadow before on legit photos, most recently on pics of the varyag.

That just makes me even more suspicious. What camera do these people use? If it is a SLR with a telephoto lens, then the image quality should come out much better (sharper) then what we see now; even consumer grade telephoto lens produce photo much better (sharper) photos then that. If they are using a compact camera with some limited zoom feature, then why fit a hood over it? Although I've not been following the trends in compact camera lately, I would imagine that those that can be fitted with a hood will NOT have a hood that will produce those shadows. No current manufacturer will make such a horrible mistake!

Is the photographer trying to give us the impression that he took the photo form a hidden location/position? ... I hope he is not trying to tell us that he hid in a drainage opening or something like that :D. If he did, then it is such a waste to just use automatic mode; I though it was a cloudy day earlier, but it looks more likely that the white balancing is done automatically; the white truck's white color is more of a very light grey, which I believe is more likely the result of auto-exposure. Can someone confirm?

And Kanwa got fooled over the fake sub pics, in case you didn't remember that April Fool trick...

The recent batch of pics smells like fake. No mention was made as to where and when it was taken.

My conclusion remains the same, somebody in China mistaken 1st April is now.

So don't get all too excited over a hoax, people.

Well if it is a hoax they've got a hell lot of people joining in on it... A lot of people living in Chengdu have seen the plane with their own eyes (more than one corroborating the story). The person who leaked the photos also leaked J-10b, which was also claimed to be fake. I think that there is a good chance that this is the real deal this time.

I completely agree with taht ! Simply remember the first picture of the J-10B and all those sceptics were calling it a FAKE esp. since it looked quite exactly like the CG we've seen before ... then one grainy picture like that ... afew more ... and after a few days or weeks, those very clear shots right from the CAC area were posted.

So let's wait a bit more ... I have a good feeling on those pictures that tim.

The only thing that frightens me is that I will leave to the Winter-hollydays with the family in a few days ... one week :( ... no internet .... :mad:
