Never heard yongji brand but flying pigeon is real good. If you don't believe , you go Beijing and go to some old estates, you can see those old flying pigeon lying around which can be trace back to 20 or 30 years old. There' s a reason why this brand is so popular even westerner knows it. Nowadays quality I'm not sure.

永久(yongjiu, or Forever)and 飞鸽(Flying Pigeon)were like Honda and Toyota those days. While 永久has transformed itself into some modern versions, such as folding bikes,飞鸽 has for long disappeared as a brand. That's my impression.

The F-22 uses a similar approach since it does not feature an air-brake. I don't think this is too big of a deal.

Comparing with the F-22, the J-20 has a lot more and larger area of control surfaces. Hence better suited for using these surfaces for braking (on land and in the air?).

Not necessarily. The F-22 looks like it has a larger tail, and its tail planes are bigger than the J-20's canards.

Ah alright -- I appreciate the pictures, but maybe consider leaving out some of the captions? It makes the pictures a bit more interesting but they are a bit misleading at times and most of us can tell that the aircraft is being towed in front of some hangars or that an engineer is on the ladder.

Cheers.

Well, I actually enjoy reading those little captions before and now, which gave me a big smile or grin... The pictures alone are getting bland as we see more and more of them looking alike.

Right, but... are we talking also about the verticle tails? If so, the F-22's may have smaller control surfaces than J-20's all moving ones. As for the horizontal tails, they may be larger in area, but it looks like they can move in a much smaller angle in comparison with the canards.

When the J-20's canards are in a "dig in" angle, you just feel it would push down the aircraft's front wheel while helping brake the plane.

Stop whining about my posts.

If you don't like them, don't read them. You complained about my post on the F-35 stealth assessment. You repeatedly complained about my use of the widely-accepted terminology "Shi Lang." And now, you're complaining about my captions.

You make many offhand and casual comments and I haven't made a single complaint. Do you hear me complaining: "Hey Bltizo, you're going off-topic again! Can you stop that? Thanks."

When Popeye or one of the moderators inform me that I am in violation of forum rules, I will comply. If you keep this up, I will put you on ignore. You post in your style and I post in mine. Live and let live. Stop whining like a five-year-old after every one of my posts. You're annoying.

I have made the exact same posts on five other forums and no one has complained. In the year and a half that I have been posting, I have never received even a warning from a moderator on Pakistani Defence, AsiaWind, SinoDefence, New Century China, Indian Defence, Pakistan Defence, and Chinese Defence.

Give it a rest.

If I don't tell him to bugger off, he'll keep following me around and polluting my posts with his nonsense. In essence, he's trolling. I gave him a free pass on three occasions. He's used up his freebies.

Is it at all possible that J-20's prototype could be like the F-22 prototype? notice how F-22's shape are different between the finished production version and the prototype, the finished product looks much more refined.

come to think of it, the J20 kind of looks like the F-22 prototype in the nose area, anyone else think the airframe will have slight changes when the service model is reveled?
