The red thing looks like air flow sensor/pitot tube covers. There seems to be two of them, but I think the front one will be removed for production variant.

For some reason I imagined the main wheel bay doors opened from the top, which makes me wonder why they didn't design it that way. Anyway, I was saying the "Star" seemed to be a bit low for it to be 2002 although I'm not 100% sure. Both 2002 and 2001 can leave its mwb doors opened, so this won't indicate which is which.

You are right that both can leave the MLG doors open, airborne or not. But so far only 2002 shows that it can close the doors when not in the air. That is why I guessed that in that picture, it was the 2002. :p

I thought I read somewhere that the production one won't have the pitot tube at all....

Do you guys think that the landing gears of J-20 are kinda too tiny? Do the tiny landing gears indicate anything to its weight?

No they are well proportioned in comparison to western Aircraft, saves weight and internal space, look great to use on good runways. Lots of Russian aircraft use oversized gear, for use on unimproved strips. but I can see why you might think so.

Obviously, if you want to BUY real-estate, you can get a lot of cheaper offers today at US after the market crash. A Brazilian girl, friend of mine, almost bought a house in Florida cause it cost half the price found in Belo Horizonte, one of our biggest cities. About the jeans, Walmart, probably, is selling Chinese products. In China, this is a HIGH QUALITY product price. If you want brand, you will prefer to buy in the States because you have more warranties against falsification. The secret in China to live cheap is live like Chinese. It's costly live as a foreigner.

J-20 and T-50 will be cheap alternatives to F-35 in a near future. Arab countries, soon or later, will ask for stealth fighters and will have no Occidental alternatives in the market. Chinese build warbirds well and cheap. Is a question of time sell planes at markets US and Europe don't want to supply.

Cheers

Pepe

Yeah, but the property taxes in Florida is much higher (in US dollars) than in China (just started on property taxes for a few urban cities), assuming there is no HOA (Home Ownership Authority) fees. I figure food, electricity, gas, and water bills are more cheaper in China as well.

I'm thinking the opposite: We now have two publicly known J-20's to watch: 2002 in Chengdu and 2001 in Yanliang!

So that means, there's gonna be two groups of wall climbers for keeping an update on the bird (J-20)?:p
