Pakistan seems be a friend of China, regarding CPEC. Is Pakistan capable to defend its air land against India, by JF-17 Thunder Block3 ?.
Why not China sell to Pakistan its J-10, J-20 jet fighters for safety against India ?.

since the J-20 is rated in a similar way, the F-22 was not sold, not even to GB or Israel.

Pakistan and China are indeed in the same orbit these days, and Deino is correct that J-20 will never be exported, but in regard to the J-10, its really an issue of money and resources for Pakistan. I'm sure they would love to build or buy the J-10, but they just don't have the cashola.... that really drives a lot more defense procurement than it ever has, as high end fighter aircraft are very expensive to build or buy.

So we have the joint JF-17, which seems to be the best compromise meeting the need for an indigenous fighter aircraft.

Some older shots of no. 2001 & 2011 by @机外停车Rabbit from Weibo

actually Deino, its 2002 before she became 2004, very nice pictures though, clearly showing the "clipped tips" on the vertical stabs of 2011 and those funky forward gear doors on 2002.

Even though we know so much more, these older photo's remind us of how exciting the early development of this beautiful airplane was, as Deino and others were able to glean so much real data from the amazing photo's of the "wall climbers". I really miss these detailed pictures that gave us some much insight in to the actual development of this amazing aircraft.
