Absence of ventral stabilisers would be telling but tough to say with that terrible image quality.

If it is still flying with one AL-31 or WS-10, which is not TVC equipped, they still need central strakes.
It’s possible that even with one TVC engine you can get away with no ventral strake, since all you need is one point of vector control. That said I highly doubt the ventral strakes will be removed, since that would have to mean changing the aerodynamics of the plane and thus risk downstream effects on both the flight control laws and also potential performance of the plane. That’s asking for more risk and work on what should by now be a rather mature design.
