Considering Y-20B, KJ-600, J-15T, J-35(A), all new equipments are in the parade.

Why not with J-20A/S? Are they still not in LRIP? Make me confused.
i believe, J-20A following the Y-20B process..

Y-20B supposed to enter in service in 2023 and we got visual confirmation in late 2024 with serial numbers. they gradually increased WS-20 production. from late 2022 to 2024..

WS-15 is a production engine since summer 2023 and as per Orca this year we could see proper production. WS-15 is an advanced machine with different supply chain as compare to WS-10/WS-20. so components scale up production is a complex process.

They edging us so hard man, balls blue for the past year as every month SDFers say "full production ON" man my dick hurt

Because there is no such urgent need - all the anxious people are us military enthusiasts, and the Chinese Air Force obviously doesn't care.
If the correct way of thinking is followed, one batch of WS15 will be used for testing in the JXX project and directly converted into TVC, which can achieve better benefits.
After all, the Chinese Air Force already has more than 200 J20s. Except for aliens, nothing can destroy China's air force in an instant.

But damn, we just want to see the new guy!!!

I don't mind J-20 slowing down. We have J-35A coming. For example, if we go from 80 J-20 to 40 J-20 40 J-35, there is not much difference.

Then there is 6th gen coming. I am OK with less 5th than adversary, but leapfrog them with 6th gen. In fact I am OK J-20 stop producing entirely once 6th gen is in full production.

6th gen is probably still many years away and if you look at the production ramp up of J-20 it will probably take another few years after it starts LRIP to make it to mass production. In other words don't expect mass production like 50+ J-36 a year before like 2035 at least. Further 6th gen fighters will probably be much more expensive than 5th gen fighters so it might be better off to have a mix and for PLA to keep J-20/J-35 in at least some degree of production even when J-36/J-50 become available. This is similar to right now when PLA has kept J-16 and to a limited extent J-10C in production while J-20 is already in mass production.

Seeing how the J-16 and J-15 are in full production despite the J-20 entering service en masse, I wouldn't expect J-20 production to substantially slow or stop once the J-36 and SheNGAD reaches production, especially with the latter likely being the most expensive aircraft ever to be produced by the Chinese.

Any slowdown of currrent J-20 production is likely due to the imminent introduction of the J-20A.

J-10C has export niche. Nevertheless its domestic production stopped once J-20 production ramped up.

J-16 filled a different niche than J-20, and was in development before J-20 was ready.

There will be many years before 6th gen in service. In 5 years we might have like 600+ of J-20/35. Would it make sense to build more when 6th gen ready by then?

That‘s not correct … it slowed down only. Batch 07 & 08 were still produced for the PLAAF even when J-20 production ramped up!

I think J-20 will have to slowly start focusing on a strike fighter type role as the time goes on just like what J-16 plays. Before J-20, China's main Air-to-Air fighter was J-11. But ever since J-20 came along, PLA started to transition Flankers to a Strike fighter role with the J-16.

Right now, J-20 is a pure AA fighter. Maybe with J-20S, it will transition to a multi-role fighter. J-35 also will focus more on multi-role. If both of these fighter can store a missile like JASSM or LRASM in the internal bay, they will be a very potent bombing/stand-off missile shooting platforms
