Now it looks like 7893x ???
Drone control is purely software. Even 4th gen can do it. US is adding drone control to F-22 via tablets. I don't consider drone control to be an interesting or a powerful capability for an aircraft. If it can control drones, it should be classified as a 5.5 gen
Consider that you can have internet on 56k modem too, but fibre optic provides better internet. That means, J-20s with stronger avionics and EW will simply just disconnect F-22 from its drones and/or even attempt to hack, simply because due to newer hardware, J-20 has higher bandwidth, power efficiencies and overall better systesm/software integrations to play with. We already saw Pakistan jamming EU's state of the art rafales that they were forced to use less secure channels and that's with China's absolutely not close to the latest and greatest.Drone control is purely software. Launching drones from internal bay and use it in combat as Forward lookout? Now that will be a powerful capability.
Do we have a source for that rnavionics and electronics matter the most.
J-20AS/A has GaN-on-Sic AESA radar. which has 3X more range as compare to normal GaN radars.
3x longer range for J-20 radar from adopting SiC substrate. its GaN-on-SiC..Do we have a source for that rn
I don't think a local newspaper report has any credibility3x longer range for J-20 radar from adopting SiC substrate. its GaN-on-SiC..
casmita is credible for semiconductor news so this information has direct link with semiconductor next generation material.I don't think a local newspaper report has any credibility
