Nice, and notice the "meta-material" has been applied to all the leading and trailing edges, in and around the intakes, and covering the exterior surfaces of the ventral fins. The "primer birds" have been a real treat to see the underlying detail that has gone into construction of the J-20, these details prove just how serious they have been about lowering the RCS of the J-20, lots of detail work.

And why do you think this is "meta material"?

And why do you think this is "meta material"?

It overlays areas critical to RCS reduction and according to the recent "press reveal", "meta material" is used extensively in the J-20 in order to reduce RCS.

I'm rather certain that the F-22 and F-35 also use a US version of "meta material" extensively.

The J-20 appears to have "meta material" bonded on to the surfaces which would most naturally be "reflective" to radar waves, by incorporating this material to "absorb" rather than reflect, overall RCS is very significantly reduced.

Yes (Most likely a Salut AL-31FN variant custom made for the J-20). Nobody here knows what exactly it is (though I have nagging feeling flateric knows what the engine is).

more than likely Warpy, LOL, we don't much news of where the WS-15 development currently stands, so seeing the WS-10 is a least encouraging...

I would concur that the AL-31FN was the most likely variant, though Deino raised a question of it being the AL-31FM??
