First Off Topic, but all our thoughts and prayers are with you and the French People, and indeed all Europeans who are facing the same "hateful actions" of the "haters":

Equation, Mr. Forbin is among the most honest and fair-minded gentlemen on this forum, and almost completely without bias?? He was simply relating that the Russians had issues with the SU-35, as well as PAK-FA, and we in the US had many similar issues with the F-35. So it is within the realm of possibility that the Chinese are having some issues that may be delaying the J-20??? NO?????

It is possible that China is having issues, but the difference is that the Russians don't have enough money/resources to develop the Su-35 and Pak-Fa properly, whilst China didn't have this Peruvian.

Also, the F-35 has a lot of interlocking and complex development features whereas the J-20 is way more focused on fewer key capabilities.[/quote]

The problem for Su-35S is not an engine problem and just an example.

Even if J-20 program worck possible but no sure China as all countries have also problems normal but it remains unknown ...

For engines i don' t understand you ? ofc they have and big problems for Chines engines since always or you live in one other planet ;)

After not being too indoctrinated ...

What problem did they have I think you are the one that living on different planet. 400 WS 10 A have been produced without single crash.
It is a record that is unmatch even by Soviet Union AL 31 operated by the Indian airforce suffer 5 crashes and such a low operating readiness that at anytime only 1/3 of the Su 30 MKI is fit for service.

Are referring to delay So do A400 and PW 100-200 and even the engine for F35
In China case it is understandable because China is 3rd world country . But Europe, US the craddle of Jet engine?

Given the way we all wait for images and news on J20 and FC31. It's likely that any issues the PRC aviation has had have been kept from leaking. They have a very strict security apparatus in place with controlled leaks to keep the fans happy. Unlike the US DOD and Lockheed Martin who has to keep the Press in the loop.

It's fair to say that China is a developing country, but there are numerous places on the coast which are at or approaching the wealth and technology capability levels of Europe and East Asia.

The Chinese interior is way poorer and more backward, but it is now catching up

I am quite aware of Chinese economy. I am talking about when they start developing the WS 10 I believe in 1980. Back then China is 3rd world country

You mean for difference between interior and coast o_O

They are very many but many are poor 70th in the world, for each people 8000$/year in Europe with 1000 $/month you are considered poor.

But a huge difference in 20 years everyone on bicycle or rickshaw :)

But they build cheaper ... haha :D

One need also to consider purchasing power parity. The cost of living in developing countries can be about 3 to 5 times less than in developed countries.

So USD$1000/month is not that small an amount of money in equivalent local currency in some emerging countries that could buy local goods and services equivalent to $3000 to say $4000 of that in developed countries.

Exact but despite that remains a difference ...

OT a little but can be interesting this matter of money, price.

So back to our weapons and Henri K say recently one 052D want 400 mill €, 450 mill $ now, cheaper
A J-10A fly away to 28 mill $ in 2010 a F-16 want easy 60 and is not really an expensive fighter.
Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

Then how many possible for a J-20, 100 mill $ fly away ? saying for a production of 10/20 for a year.
