So why is it then that those two inner hardpoints seemingly has never been photographed with any guided weapons? Air flow issues that close to the canards? Firing risks posed to deflected canards? They're comfortable enough with rockets fired from this position.

Whatever the reason, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Don't rush to conclusions assumptions, and pay no attention to crackpot theories such as something-something-about-data-cables-and-delta-wings or something-something-about-leading-edges-and-alignment-of-hardpoints. :p

Sometimes, we just have to be comfortable with the known unknowns. It's all part of the fun of PLAFF-watching.

You are mistaken.

P.S. Damn those pesky data cables! They can only be placed near the leading edges of the wings because we all know that's how it's always done; and data cables must run along a straight line – if you bend them slightly, they'll break. Besides, there is no other place in the wings for the data cables due to the embedded "auxiliary antenna for the calibration of phased arrays" taking up all the spare space. :D:D:D

You are proving what I said.
Compared with the other two pylons, the inner pylons have the circled part in yellow for the fixture purpose only. There is no connection to the data cable, so those points are used for moving shorter "dumb" weapons (than drop tanks) forward for aerodynamic consideration.

The forward fixture circled above corresponds to the point below:

No, those holes are for the wing goblins. Don't you know? Wing goblins are what provide lift. :D

P.S. I do wonder if Sinodefence Forum is the right place for you. I mean, this isn't a place for the kind of crackpot, make-it-up-as-you-go sort of thing that you seem to prefer.

You are funny, and your pure existence makes people here entertained.
