There will still be situations where the J10 is well suited. Block C D E. Might make useful exports to her neighbours.
The j10 was introduced when..
2012_13?. Thats only a service time of 5yrs.Look at the F16 it must have been in seevice close to 35yrs?

The J-10 was introduced in 2003.

Here is a good news,some guy met the pilot of the J10TVC(a PLAAF lieutenant colonel) at the show today,they chatted a little bit,the lieutenant colonel said he will performing one more time during the public open days.

Dont know which day though.But if anybody still there ,you can hold your breath and wait.

These last few images nicely show how the TVC construction works. The outer petals which are not wholly movable in all directions (except for their ends) and which hold in place the inner petals which are the ones that do the moves. I'd say the outer part of the structure is different even from the MATV, even though the inner petal movements might be the same. (green lines are inner petals, or the inner nozzle, red lines are outer petals, which only contract and expand, but can do so unevenly)
