It would be fitting if they did, for Israel to be ended by a Muslim country that is its counterpart, and Israel is probably the only country for which I'd cheer on Turkey for, but when it comes to power, the more likely end to Israeli bloodlust would come from China with Pax Sinica. The biggest difference is that China is soft-hearted and will let Israel survive as long as they repent their crimes and throw their best efforts at building a positive relationship with China, thus allowing the plague to lay dormant until conditions allow it to fester again. But Turkey, I believe that nation has the will and the lack of mercy to finish Israel and subjugate them to everything they did to the Palestinians if they had the chance.
Israel wouldn't survive, even against a current Iraq, if the West lifted it's support. The Muslims in the regional countries are cornered, while Israel has an exit. In historical warfare, especially in many Asian cultures, the attacking force would leave an opening for the opponent to exit the battle (give up safely instead of resisting) - Israel, in all it's wars, always had an opening to return to Europe, unlike the Muslims. Even in the current war, despite Israel having a huge upper hand, a significant chunk of Israelis fled to Cyprus, Thailand, and Europe.

Turk needs NATO to fend off Russia's age old ambition of controlling the Bosphorus, while they understand NATO and EU aren't exactly of generous intent and have ulterior motives. Problems with Iran on one side and Greeks on the other side, plus Kurd separatists in the south propped up by USA, and then Israel. They really are in the center of a hell hole, balancing all sides imo pretty effectively so far. Any slip in this balance, i.e. loss of NATO support due to conflict with Israel, is major trouble for Ankara.

Israel, in the bigger picture, is on the losing side. China eroding Western power is the cause.

Turkey is growing up in population terms much faster than countries in Europe. Including Russia. And the Central Asian former USSR Turkmen republics like Uzbekistan are also having a population explosion.

I mean that makes sense. F-35s are stealth fighters and are therefore hard to detect and require lots of training, IADS (That aren't controlled by a foreign country) and your own well trained air force to properly counter.
This region is saturated with heavy civilian air traffic. Risk to civilians by IADS is immense, and we've had that in the past once when USN shot down an Irani civilian aircraft and killed nearly 300 passengers (albeit there is evidence of it being deliberate). Israel also doesn't notify anybody ahead of time of incoming strikes so they can clear air traffic, unlike the rest of the civilized world. They hide behind civilian cover, making interception difficult, much like placing their military assets in Israel in civilian areas.

Yes Nato did nothing before at the Cyprus matter. Although British and USA holds on tight. Isreal too. Erdo, after PKK arms down (in questionable announcement of Ocalan) If he make peace with Kurdish ( on expence of Syrian western cut borders ) it will be a strategic win for islamic etc world. Can they put on hands on US nukes at Diyarbarkir? Just in case lol
