While it's true that soldiers may not be buried immediatly on the same day they die however since they buried 50 soldiers in one cemetry in just two days it appears as though the losses are far greater than what the IDF claims.
The director of the Mount Herzl Military Cemetery revealed the large numbers of Israeli army soldiers buried as a result of the battles it is waging in the Gaza Strip, where 50 soldiers were buried within 48 hours.
David Oren Baruch, director of the Mount Herzl military cemetery, said: “We are now going through a period where every hour there is a funeral, every hour and a half there is a funeral... I was asked to open a large number of graves... Only in the Mount Herzl cemetery we buried 50 soldiers within 48 hours.”
It should be noted that the names of the dead soldiers are not announced until the army allows it, and the Israeli army has announced on its website so far 380 dead since October 7th.
