now in Twitter I figured "M4" in Al-Bab area had been reached by Rebels/Turks around "Aji" and if true, it would mean the current line of contact looks something like this:

to what the fresh "edmap"

shows ... all I can add is
Nov 18, 2016
(related to so called race for Al-Bab)
...

if Rebels/Turks make a (firm) connection to Government held-territory, with Al-Bab encircled in between, I'll call it

...
... and even if it happens, I won't call it :) because it wouldn't be what I meant EDIT Nov 18, 2016
as I thought the pace of Turkish operation would be completely different, with pincers etc., something what hasn't happened ... and don't worry, I don't second guess, I prefer to say I was wrong LOL

Its being reported that there is a full rebel collapse in progress at the North of the Pocket and that all districts north of the main road that is forming the pinchpoint (sorry dont know which road it is) are being abandoned and will be retaken by the government in hours.

now I read easternmost Rebels' line(s) had collapsed, into something like this:

with only several hundred meters (the scale shows in bottom-right corner ... just saying)
for Government forces to go to merge ...

That shortens the defence lines of the "rebels" but they also no doubt lost a lot of fighters and weapons the last two days. With the increased political and eventual material support from China and Egypt the end of the war is getting near. Of course the Egyptian armed forces are US trained so will have a lot to learn and may well come too late to contribute.
