Here's the footage of CQC training.
This is embarrassing. There is nothing in here that demonstrates proper CQC tactics. Sliding around like it's CoD is embarrassing. They aren't even clearing the room properly.

There are too many training videos like this and if this is how they really train, then I've really lost a lot of respect for the Chinese military. I've seen professional videos from China but why don't we get more of that??

You might wanna calm your sanctimonious butt down. There are other threads that allows this, but not this one. Even those of us who can get extreme in the political realm switch gears when we post in threads like these, particularly the more famous ones. In addition, judging an entire military based on videos of inexperienced infantrymen doing those maneuvers is extremely asinine.

Aside from that, I agree with you on your belief that the video was filled with flashy and questionable maneuvers. I would attribute that to a lack of combat experience that can be rectified with training with more experienced units (particularly PAP spec ops teams) or instruction from experienced instructors.

Why is the neck collar that large?

They'll need to bleed a bit before they truly get it.
