This is an interesting and significant development. The PLA appears to have adopted exoskeletons in some capacity. So far, evidence points to their being used for medical evacuation and maintenance roles where heavy lifting is required.

negative PALS webbing. It reduces weight by reducing layers of materials it requires that the plate carrier be of a stronger material and that the plate have its own skin to keep from showings in contrast.

Probably just a demo.

Maybe, but the cadence of exoskeleton related updates has increased markedly. In the past nine months, I've seen some five separate updates on various systems, and I've probably missed some. The latest video I linked does seem to suggest that exoskeletons are in service in some capacity for medevac purposes. The video talks about battlefield medicine in the context of increasing combat effectiveness, and that by utilizing both old and new technologies, such as medev ATVs and exoskeletons, the medical personnel are doing a better job than ever before.

The video below shows medics in exoskeletons. Note the female soldier was walking briskly while carrying a 140-lb soldier on her back.

The original video shows a 45-50 kg female soldier carrying a 70 kg male soldier and running around, she was able to talk normally when interviewed, no heavy breathing whatsoever.

When I played rugby in high school, we did many fitness drills like these, doing a fireman carry with a partner. I was around 80 kg back then and let me tell you, I will not be able to run around so easily and talking like nothing is happening if I was carrying a 150 kg dude that is almost twice my weight.... This exoskeleton shown in the TV segment is pretty impressive

The PLA seems to be pretty serious with these exoskeletons and they are advancing quickly, at this rate, we might actually some type of cod advanced warfare stuff within a couple of years....

There seems to have been a leak earlier on weibo of an individual outfitted with some of the new kit undergoing trials/entering service. The image got quickly scrubbed by censors, but someone who claims to have seen it drew this from memory

Dude in the pic is described as rocking:
-the new starry sky patterned FROG uniform set
-a quick release plate carrier, likely supplied by one of the private gear companies
-a QBZ191 fitted with the new QMK171 optic
-a new holster, different from the one seen at the parade

Assuming it's legitimate, it shows that things are progressing about as expected behind the scenes.
