Also, it has no relations with the QMQ 171. It is entirely designed and tested in the US, specifically Washington state. It's only manufactured in China.
This is the A02/A02pro from Qi Feng Optic/HKK, and it is indeed an authorized/copy product of QMQ171. Zentinal Defense is just a rebrand, and their claim of “entirely designed and tested” is just to appease the American customers.

Yup. Thanks for the correction and information! This sounds like the Holosun situation all over again for holographic sights.

In that case, the one featured in the American YouTube channel looks they made a signficiantly better version of the QMQ 171. The sole fact that it has a 20,000 hr battery life is insane considering how an EOTech EXP3-1 can only last 1000 hours. Plus, it uses common batteries like AA or AAA types, and it has a shake-awake mechanism. It's interesting to see how the export versions are better than the QMQ 171.

This seems to be a bit of a definitional issue. A02's optical path design is entirely derived from the QMQ171, whether licensed or copied. However, they seem to have made improvements on it, such as a more durable coating design and potentially higher quality glass, more compatible battery compartment design, etc. And not an OEM manufacturer that produces for PLA. So, would this be considered a civilian /export version of the QMQ171? Maybe, I'm not sure.

That's range toy alright...
Red Dot sites only need to reliably hold zero to be combat proven because it's not rocket science. People who said Holosun are not combat proven are fucking retarded because Eotechs and Aimpoint aren't ground breaking technology and the only reason why the US miltiary heavily uses them specifically is not because of quality (Holosun 510c has literally 100 times more battery life and has a failsafe) but because it's an American or western (Aimpoint is swedish) product and it holds zero. Holosun does the same but it's made in China so the US isn't going to us it but it's performence in Ukraine aswell as usage by the Estonian and Finnish miltiary proves that it's military grade.
