But China choose to buy. The same is true for India.

But China already had a far more mature local aircraft building capability, regardless of it not being that advanced, consisting of several manufacturers.

Then there is the fact that China doesn't seem to shy away from cancelling a project if basic specs and deadlines aren't met cutting their losses and allowing to shift funding to more promising or better managed programs.

The same is not true for India, having to deal with a monopoly of manufacturers and relying to much on national pride; that's how you get projects like the Arjun, an obsolete, ill-designed tank that has yet to meet the specs in 30 years of development hell and barely reaching relevant numbers of tanks built in the last 5 years. It only serves to siphon money away from other projects that at this point might provide just as much valuable know-how.

It is the truth. China is on another level.

It is a double-edged sword. Many weapons projects canceled was the right decision. But there are also decisions that are still controversial: WS-6 and Y-10

Arjun is a terrible tank. That's why India continues to upgrade it, and they buy T-90 and possibly T-14 in the future.

1. India has more resources, population and territory than Indonesia, Vietnam and Pakistan.
2. If all four countries are enemies of China. So India is the most dangerous enemy

Is the global hunger index and my views in conflict? And no African country shares a border with China.

Compare India with China? Comparison of what? Economy, culture, education, level of development? I am 100% sure that the content of the previous discussion has nothing to do with these issues, and I have never concluded that India will catch up and surpass China. My view is that India is a potential threat and should not be underestimated.

Here is the content of the discussion.

India is incompetent unlike Pakistan in that matter and size means nothing really it is a shithole in everything. Pakistan is much more effective and politically powerful plus the better ally for China. The chinese bet on the right horse in this race Pakistan will outlast India any day and more superior historically and even today they just have more capable people.

Hope I understood your hidden message to me. I removed the part you requested. Correct me if my assumption is wrong
No thats ok. I actually had something to do and misclicked the post button before I had finished the post. So I just deleted the whole msg because I was bored to rewrite it

But now that you mention it, thanks for deleting that. Continuing, Pakistan has demonstrated with actions that it is a steadfast and credible friend of China.

Yes, China might prefer to have good relations with India, but it wouldn't sacrifice Pakistan for the sake of it. China's and Pakistan's interests are very compatible with each other. There is also deep historical relations between them, and the CPC wouldnt backstab a friend who stood with it when it was weak.

Contrary to western propaganda, China appreciates past help and it isnt just another imperialistic power which at the first opportunity throws friends under the bus

Pakistan will outlast India any day and more superior historically and even today they just have more capable people.
Pakistan has its own issues. IMO Number 1 of which is the current increasing religious radicalisation of its people (influenced by its "friends" Saudi Arabia and Iran). Hopefully with CPEC, and higher incomes, the people will resist and eventually win against such radicalisation

and even today they just have more capable people.
I agree. Their military establishment has been superb. Facing a country with a size and populalion like India, and giving it a bloody nose everytime it gets courageous is very admirable and it shows the fighting spirit and cleverness of the Pakistani people

Now to get back on topic, India is in a bad situation of its own making. The 2 front war thing that they are shouting that they can do without difficulty, is delusional thinking.

Even the German war machine was deeply afraid of such a thing. It screwed up in WW1 where it got pinned down in 2 fronts. After WW1, they got PTSD whenever they heard about 2 front wars. This is why on WW2, Hitler approached SU and settled his eastern side before doing a blitzkrieg on the western side.

That India entertains such delusions when the most capable and fearsome European military was so afraid of it, just shows how out of touch India's policymakers and generals are.

The news about the Pakistan military having stationed officers inside some PLA units should have seriously alarmed India (if they have any actual brains to actually think about these things)

The only way for India to get out of this mess is diplomacy. If they keep stalling or declining China's offers for the border, I am almost certain that China will take action against it

The whole country supports the ethablishment and these things needs to be eliminated elements like BLAAF and TPL but thank god since IEA has come to power in Afghanistan things have slowed down since their sponsors have been taken out across the border mainly the Ghani regime, NDS and RAW.

The Indians have social issues that Pakistan knows of and the Indians aren't exactly your typical fighters and I don't know how to put it this way but they were not created for that. Pakistan is very well versed in the area dynamics. It technically doesn't see the size of India when it looks at it but only sees the number of troops as being the only gate way which is pragmatic POV. It doesn't buy into hype but only calculates things via pragmatic calculations.

But the knowledge gained on the WS-6 was stiill useful on the much more successful WS-10, so it really wasn't a loss.

The Y-10 was an obsolete design from the get go. While it might have provided useful insight into airliner/jet transport building and design, trying to mass produce the thing in the 80's would have been a waste of resources.

Arjun is a terrible tank. That's why India continues to upgrade it, and they buy T-90 and possibly T-14 in the future.
Thats the problem, there is no way to economically salvage such a terrible design like the Arjun. They'd be better off scraping the project altogether and using the money for planned upgrades into starting a new project, probably on the basis of the T-90.

But irrational national "pride" won't let them. Heck, they won't even dump the terrible rifled 120mm gun.
