Here's the first of many Overhauled T 90 Bhishma, These Tanks were oldest which were take apart in order to it & repairs, besides regular overhaul received small but important Upgrades as mention on poster.

Wasn't the last thermal imager also passive? I have yet to see an active thermal imager lol...

Active thermal imager requires an IR spotlight to illuminate targets. That's standard in the 1960s.

Passive thermal images are what we see on modern MBTs. They need no external IR illumination to see a target out to several kilometers. No surprise that India is upgrading the passive thermal sights. This technology has already been around since the 1970s.

The Indian Army is buying $190 Million Dollars worth of 3257 APUs from OshoCorp Global for T-90 & T-72 tanks, It's not known this APU are internal or external, APU will help Tanks to operate in silent mode where APU will power Tank Turret & Electronics.

Let's see if it takes till 2030, 2040, or 2050 for India to integrate these APU into their T-72s and T-90s.
