You just freeze one moment of the video where the PLA soldiers going down the hill to group.
It's was a big PLA convoy.... part of the same group was throwing stones from above at same time. If you understand Hindi.... Indian officer was assuring wounded PLA soldier that he is safe and was trying to calm down his soldiers who by there accent sound like a mix of ladakhi scouts ( Tibetan people) and Punjabi people.

I am hearing that Indian soldier who beat up this chap along with officer is facing a disciplinary action. a meeting was called between both sides and action has been taken against chaps on both sides. It's a good thing that both sides don't carry weapons. there need to be more DGMO level meeting on both sides. I hope such video don't get release in future. It all good for trolling but create unnecessary trouble and in age of social media and dumb over nationalistic population it's a recipe for disaster. I hope diplomats on both sides are coordinating and trying to defuse the situation.

If both sides carried weapons, these borders would be like LOC between Pakistan and India. But still, let's see where this goes, could really escalate with more violence being carried out by one or both sides unless they're both pulled back. Personally wouldn't mind seeing a proper military action. The rock throwing and small fights need to either stop or escalate. Stop this charade or end it.

India in recent days has illegally constructed defense facilities across the border into Chinese territory in the Galwan Valley region, leaving Chinese border defense troops no other options but making necessary moves in response, and mounting the risk of escalating standoffs and conflicts between the two sides.

There is no line of actual control along the China-India border that both sides recognize. Due to the improvement of infrastructure at the border area, the two countries have ramped up patrols, which have led to more frequent standoffs as a result. Yet most of them were directly and properly eased through communication among frontline officers. Only a few incidents have been exposed by media outlets. But they aroused public attention.

Unlike previous standoffs, the latest border friction was not caused by accident, but was a planned move of New Delhi. India has been clearly and definitely aware that the Galwan Valley region is Chinese territory. But according to media reports, since early May, India has been crossing the boundary line into the Galwan Valley region and entering Chinese territory. Indian soldiers have also deliberately instigated conflicts with their Chinese counterparts. If India failed to stop such provocations as soon as possible, it will impact on Beijing-New Delhi ties - and may even exceed the sort of intensity of the

Unlike LOC there is no place for hiding here for both sides and unlike 62 you don't have any advantage in both man and machine. Just to give to you a slight info about recent standoff. India brought soldiers to frontline so fast whole PLA military leadership was rattled.

Here's the the map of Indian military formation in ladakh alone.

That's more than 70,000 troops at peace time alone. Be careful what you wish for.

India is building nothing illegally and we reject all Chinese claim. India is building things on its own land. It's PLA who is trying to act smart.

Wonder who leaked the video since you find it so irresponsible.

You can hear in that video officer telling a soldier to bring camera an take photo and make video of vehicle.
soldier who made this on his Chinese phone probably shared it with his Buddies and someone leaked it.

That's indeed a lot of troops if true. I doubt Beijing will allow intrusions for long. But they can't exactly go to war without meeting some serious international fallout. No matter how they play it other than giving in to India's "intrusion" (I'm still iffy about this whole thing but it looks more like India is the one intruding into territory India considers its own and China considers otherwise). I still wish all these disputed territories can be ended one way or another. Fighting it out seems like the only way since neither side will give in. It may seem like China's ready to give in but there's a lot of corroborating info that will need to come out in future in order to verify this. Personally I doubt Chinese people will let the CCP ignore a border issue now that it's sort of recognised in China as well. I anticipate developments here in coming weeks/months.
