Ahh he is saying that IAF can train with NATO and other exercises that PLAAF cant/isnt invited to so they are 'training' better.. Not sure if that works like that.
Hopefully their Airforce isnt doing the 'Our rafales can take out J20's' thing now.

Credit where credit is due, in 2019 they bombed trees (either intentionally or unintentionally) vs now

Hmm good point, Friendly bout vs adversarial scrambles

Also I am assuming that they (Pakistan side) already have access to chinese sats, atleast for monitoring.

The problem is that US exercises like Red Flags have different tiers for different types of participating nations. If you are on the inner circle (Five Eyes) you are gonna get full display of USAF might. But if you are a neutral nation they won’t show you all the cards like jamming and network centric warfare.

Sure they are improving, but without the right doctrine I don’t see how it could help? The nature of aerial warfare has changed. Instead of simple aircraft on aircraft combat which involve merge after BVR fire it is now system on system, where stuff like data linking, electronic warfare, sensors, and missile performance matter a lot more than pilot skill in BFMs.
That's exactly right. India desperately needs someone to show them how modern air combat works like the way the PLAAF showed the PAF. But where can they get this teacher from? The only countries (other than Pakistan :)) that we know for sure have this capability are China and the US and neither are going to show India the ropes.

Meanwhile the IAF has way too many enemies to deal with: Modi, the BJP, Godi media, and probably the other military branches. The IAF is currently helpless, but these parties are going to try to push them into war against Pakistan regardless. The worst part is that the political pressures mean that the IAF can't simply come out and tell them all, "We can't fight. We can't even see the Pakistani planes before we get shot down."

Missile Race Heats Up: Russia Offers Hypersonic BVRAAM R-37M to India as PL-15 Haunts Subcontinental Skies

It'd be a trap for India if they were to buy R-37M. It's a pretty good missle, but the problem for India isn't a lack of BVR missiles; it's that they don't have the doctrine to employ it properly, and they lack the support units and systems to do much with it.

An Indian Air Force Apache helicopter made an emergency landing during a routine training sortie near the Saharanpur district on Friday. The chopper has now returned to the Saharanpur air base.

The pilot executed a controlled landing in an open field near the Yamuna river, close to Jondha Bans village under Chilkana police station limits. No casualties were reported in the incident.

Risk to not even cover attrition rate... It's just insane that they didn't achieved a working Kaveri and pooped TEJA in numbers, now they are planning to build parts in 3 years of an aircraft that's not helping them grow their industry capabilities and technology base.
I mean right now with their recent push towards AMCA project, they should also be focusing on Kaveri right??? if the end goal is to achieve somewhat self sustenance than start now and reach some point in 5 ish years?
Yeah Raf-M's seem like will be finished in 2029-2030
