The under-development nuclear-propelled third aircraft carrier of the Indian Navy, known as INS Vishal, will have a displacement of 75,000 tonnes and can accommodate 80-100 fighter jets onboard.

Those numbers are bollocks. Not even the USN with their 100 thousand-ton supercarriers are able to fit that many fighter jets onboard.

Besides, where are you going to park all the other types of aircrafts and helicopters onboard? And how are you going to conduct and handle flight deck and hangar deck operations with that many aircrafts packed onboard?

Have you ever given any thoughts about those?

Them...they're sorta 054A level in capability, so the ships to watch are Barak-8 ones (6 escorts+2 carriers in service, 8 to come).
Shtils can somewhat protect themselves...and that's it about them.

Barak-8/LRSAM may comprehensively outperform old Shtil missiles, but at 275kg it is less than half the weight of SM-2 or HQ-16, more in line with ESSM, with corresponding implications for its performance envelope relative to later variants of those missiles using similarly modern propellants and electronics.

Yes, frigates be frigates(even if they call themselves destroyers for prestige). They provide reasonable collective defense and deny glide-bombing of themselves(especially if in a relatively tighter formation), but more is a stretch.
Redut or Aster are more or less in the same category.

Still, it allows to combine them into SSGs and CSGs.

Lol why are you so salty WUMAO? Unlike you Chinese tofu quality and stealing copy/tech, the Indians have the know how, engineering talent and originality to partner and ally with superior western technology that they will give to India to ensure they can contain, and if need be, destroy Commie China. Watch and seethe that Indian Navy will begin patrolling in your SOUTH CHINA SEA but you guys can't do the same in their Indian Ocean. Hahahaha Jai Hind!!

I read those above lines or similar on X (twitter) as the unhinged were so butthurt and triggered due to the twitter post from one of our esteemed mods (@Deino ) when he openly mocked the Indian report purportedly stating they will begin to build upto 6 A.C. to match if not exceed CHINA. LOL

The USS Gerald Ford can carry at least 90 fighter jets, and potentially more depending on the aircraft type.

When the Indian Navy expresses interest in acquiring a nuclear-powered supercarrier, they are not referring to the Fujian class but rather seek a vessel comparable in size to the USS Gerald Ford. Furthermore, for India to intervene militarily in regions like the Middle East, Australia, or the South China Sea, possessing a supercarrier of this scale is essential.
