Given India's economy in 2021 was around 3 trillion, it would have to grow at 25% a year to overtake USA by 2030. And this is assuming USA has 0 growth, so in reality it would need to be over 30% a year.

If India can grow 30% a year for even 1 year I will worship Modi as the new god.

Godi will just appreciate the Rupee by 30% each year, economics is easy

Pretty scary, actually. It's easy to understand why the Indian state is so obsessed with allowing more liberal immigration rules in every FTA they negotiate.

An Indian labourer got killed by a bus in Little India. Then there was rioting in Little India by South Asian immigrants, mostly Indians. The bus was vandalized, vehicles were set on fire, and police vehicles were flipped over.

Of those arrested, 24 are Indian nationals, two are Bangladeshi nationals and one is a Singapore Permanent Resident, said the police in a media release on Monday. The suspects are aged between 23 and 45.

Singapore wasted no time to arrest and punish those offenders, even giving some of them the dreaded lashes of the cane. Unlike how the West treats its unruly migrants with kids gloves, there is no nonsense in Singapore. The Indian media are off course in outrage. Some of them peddled the fake news that accuses Singaporeans of anti-Indian race rioting. But there was no diplomatic problem with India. Narendra Modi hasn't came into power yet. Singapore welcomes Indian immigrants, but it will not tolerate them bringing their nonsense into the country. If any Indian nationals in Singapore have any ideas about hijacking the country for themselves, they will be very disappointed.

It seems that some Indians are still butthurt about that. Back in 2021, New Delhi CM tried to say that the Delta variant (they called it 'Singapore variant') came from Singapore and got embarrassed again -
