why is mace windu a jedi then ??? also luke/anakin are primarly dressed in black
the first one isent that bad but later on ? they even disbanded currency !!!!
I doubt humen nature can be changed to such an extend

I was referring to the original Star Wars movie. The contrast between Pricess Leia in white, versus Darth Vader in black. Same debate going on today over the Kong movie. x_X

As for Star Trek TV series doing away with currency in the "future", that's from Vulcan cultural influence. The Federation's "Prime Directive" is very Vulcan in its origins.

Originally, the Vulcans were based on many East Asian inflluences to make them exotic and alien to American audience. Spock was made up to look Asian. Vulcans controlled their emotions, got married via arranged marriage, practiced exotic martial arts and pressure-point attacks, eat vegetarian food, meditate, etc.

Later, when the ST series tried to be more... politically correct, we started seeing black and white Vulcans, then ultimately T'pol replacing Seven of Nine as the new ST sex symbol.

Yes, it's their main choice of weapon.

Actualy, in a few of the Season 9 episodes, they seem to have replaced it with the MP7, or at least were using it for awhile.

As far as the Staff Tech, you could consider it the galactic version of the AK-47 in the Stargate universe. Reliable, Powerful and practicaly everywhere.

And as far as the Asgard getting blown up by the Ori? First time I heard of that! Their missionaries were bad enough! I just hope they dont start some sort of stupid DBZ-Ish thing where each new bad guy outdoes the other in every way shape and form. I personaly like a little variety than raw firepower.

SG-1?? Never seen it. Not even a minute....Never saw the movie either. I had no idea it was on Tv this long.

So far as Sci-Fi goes I like the Star Wars saga, Battlestar Galatica and the Star Trek series.

popeye it's rather good actually ! when i first saw it i thought ..here we
go again...US saves the world from mid-east/muslim terrorists etc. but
it's quite funny and has some great story lines.

darth sidious...i think the dark v light theme has a bit more to do with race
than you think...go back and read Tolkien...or CS Lewis

I am a startrek fan but I much prefered the new BSG, and Babylon 5 to startrek, and SG-1 I'm rabidly watching downloading whole seasons.

I am not aware of a Asgard ship being blown up in S9EP20, I know several Jaffa ships and one Earth Battlecruiser were blown up but according to wikipedia no one knows which episode it was, probly the Earth vessel.

As for America always wins.... HA dont make me laugh, the producers according to the first 3.1 series Ive watched it doesnt paint the universe in black and white, the episode shades of grey I think proves it with a rogue element of the NID stealing technologies from advanced cultures.

SG-1 did a good job keeping everything balanced and in perspective.

Now, China would very much damn well want whatever military technology it can get, think about the USAF currently has the ability to build Battlecruisers which cant be touched by any militiary's AA defences, mobile fighters that can operae in atmo and are stealthy. And of course naquada reactors even more power then fission reactors.

I think any country would be worried about one nation getting that much. SG1 didnt set it up as China being anything except one of the partner nations in maintaining the SGC. The issue as I said is that they had signed an agreement inwhich any and ALL technology gained from the SG will be provided to the Chinese in return for the US Military running the show. The US is neglecting to give military applicible technology however, non military technology they have provided.
