Hong-Kong Protests

I hope there's more of the people of Hong Kong attacking these protestors. It's nice to see the other way around where they're being outnumbered and ganged-up on. I want to see it at least to the point where hypocrites overseas are calling for something to be done to end the violence against protestors.

Oh let's use the faintest of logic like the protestors... The school shooter in Southern California yesterday was a 16 year old Asian male who wore all black including a baseball cap. It's usual that the media is giving scant information on the shooter.

Your wish is my command:

What do you guys think of the statement from the chair of the teachers union!

It is little wonder how all this younster think the way they do when the educators are all like this, they had 20 years of poisoning young minds.

It is a long term project, with helps from foreign agencies. It pains me to say it, but I think China had dropped the ball on this one by not see it coming!FB_IMG_1573671417495.jpg

Wonder if she'd say the same thing if her father was killed by a brick?

Then again, she'd probably blame the police anyway.

I think it’s unfair to blame Beijing when HK do not look after its own house.

Contrary to the propaganda from the protestors and western MSM, the whole reason they were able to do this was because Beijing was keeping good to its word and not interfering in HK internal affairs.

The pretext for this round of rioting was the extradition bill, which is infinitely less impactful than a wholesale reform of the education system.

The British also helped to sow the seeds of this chaos with their appointment of rabidly anti-China people in a lot of positions in the run up to reunification.

But this wasn’t Beijing’s mess to clean up.

Either HK gives up its special privileges, in which case it can legitimately blame Beijing when the governance of HK is miss-managed, or it has only itself to blame if they make a mess of everything when they were in the driving seat.

HK is a perfect illustration of the divergence between the honeyed lies and fairytales spun by the western MSM about democracy, and the actual grubby reality of what it takes to run a successful government and society under democracy.

For starters, the so called western ‘free’ media is anything but free or fair when it comes to foreign affairs. They are allowed a lot of discretion on domestic reporting, but on foreign reporting, you can hardly tell which news outlet produced the report without seeing the names, so closely to they all toe the party line.

Also, even in domestic reporting, the national interest is always held sacrosanct. They might disagree about how, but no western MSM will ever deliberately and knowingly shape their reporting to harm their own national interests in stark contrast to the traitor rags in HK.

Then you will find that western criminal justice systems and law enforcement agencies are often just as, if not more draconian and pervasive compared to Chinese or Russian state security.

A good illustration is a long running legal class action in the UK involving undercover police officers having sexual affair and even children with targets of their undercover operations.

And who are these ‘dangerous’ organisations that the police went to such lengths to infiltrate? Why they are just environmental protest groups, and not even proscribed or violent ones. Imagine the field day the western MSM and HK traitor rags would have if it was Chinese police who were using such appalling tactics?

The bottom line is that western ‘freedoms’ are more illusion than reality, and what extra freedoms does exist only does so because the west has sufficiently secured its institutions and society as to be able to effectively self regulate against undesirable thought. Just mention the word communism in the US and see the near instinctive hostility that generates in the locals as a good example.

Similarly, the west is extremely zealous when it comes to ‘protecting’ its population from any alternative point of view. Witness Australian counter foreign influence rules and the great American sound and dance spectacular about Russian election meddling; as well as the current and ongoing great social media purges relating to the truth about the nature of the HK rioters.

As the saying goes, freedom isn’t free. The west is only able to enjoy the freedoms it does because it has literal armies of agents actively defending the party line and attacking all opposing points of view on top of the social capital built up after decades of ingrained propaganda conditioning.

HK didn’t have any of that, and worse, had a far more socially and ethnically diverse population, with no real sense of unifying identity other than the toxic and increasingly inaccurate fig leaf of being ‘better than the mainland’.

The only real blame you could reasonably lay at the feet if Beijing is that they were far far too naive and generous when it came to negotiating the terms of the handover with the British, and that is true. But back then China had little idea of how western ‘free’ societies actually operated to keep itself safe.

That is why I think 1C2S is not workable in its current form. Especially not for territories like HK or Taiwan, which have been separated for so long and which have acted like western bulwarks against the ‘threat’ of Chinese influence.

I think Beijing simply had other priorities.

Think of it as a boxing match: no matter how well you defend, your opponent is going to get in a few hits. This time it is Hong Kong, but before, we had the Diaoyu Island and the Huangyan Shoal, and before that we had Libya and THAAD.

The US is aggressively attacking China on all fronts, and China is trying to defend against those attacks while building up its own strength.

I think Hong Kong is already lost, and that it will only be rebuilt once the 1c2s system ends. The only question left is, who will gain the advantage from Hong Kong's loss?

It’s what i had said before, Beijing had dropped the ball on this, i know for s fact that had these teachers been in Malaysia they would have been thrown in the lock up by the Police special branch for sedition.
