These people are cancer to China. They were born there, but have grown up to be vile traitors. It doesn't matter if they work for the govt or are from China in the past. To them, its not about keeping the CPC in check. These people are not there to give constructive criticism of China. Their actions speaks for themselves. They are working towards an agenda to bring China down and eventually break it apart.
Like real life cancer, you need to fix it quickly and decisively lest it grows, and metastasize. These people deserve to be rounded up and jailed. This HK national security law, as draconian as it sounds and is implemented, is necessary to keep China safe. Traitors within have always been a historical bane on China. Dynasties have fallen because of them. So they need to be shown no mercy.
