Hong-Kong Protests

This is what I was saying before, Hong Kong education has been infiltrated with traitors ever since 1997. It was a 20 year long project by forces hostile to China, and it was just a matter of time when they release their forces. The foreign agents decided to release them now. Fortunately, and hopefully it's a one shot thing.

Funny thing is, all this time, we got people like our friend from the A-team asserting that the change in young minds is because they have been taught critical thinking! As if Chinese students, me included, wasn't capable of critical thinking before 1997! Lol

Remember this teacher? I posted a video of her outside her school with her students putting out 'pro-democrarcy' banners.

Now where in the western world is this allowed? I teach at my local college in the UK, and if I did that, I would be arrested on the spot for radicalising young minors!

So all the time teachers like her poisoning the young minds, the young minds do not have time to learn the most basics of writing!

Perhaps the HK government should introduce a bill to regulate the sale of cable-ties without a licence, given they're so dangerous.

I'm also curious what's next - is it possible people will be jailed for possession of knives purchased for their kitchens? After all, they won't be able to prove they weren't purchased to commit a crime.

You need to learn how to read but I guess you choose to ignore the facts. The crime is likely more along the line of intent to cause harm and other illegal activities and the cable ties are only one of the evidence provided.

" The 'irrefutable' reason why the real-estate agent had so many of them was that he was going to use them for illegal purposes – to bind metal railings together to block traffic, or to harm people.

The magistrate said the defendant had worked in concert with others to commit crimes, and that other people shouldn't be affected by such acts. He said a deterrent sentence was needed.

Chan was convicted of possessing an offensive weapon or other instrument fit for unlawful purposes."

Also, the journalist who wrote this article should be fired as there is no such crime for possessing cable ties. This article was written to misinform the ignorant and stupid.

You should know what he's like by now! And there's no telling a man who refused to be better informed.

Remember this poor guy?

True.

Also RTHK,being a government funded public broadcaster, should have a higher standard and not using illiterate journalist and editors. This article is same quality as FLG and Jimmy Lai. Note that the article does not show any author again,

This is another proof that laissez-faire institutions has failed HK and its people.

Actually much more practical if buying disposable spray paint should require a license. During the height of the protest vandalism is so rampant in bus stops and terminals, in train stations everywhere. And guess what, the ones who clean are those old low paid cleaning ladies. I remember very well, how these stupid vandals just blatantly spray while an old lady had a hard time cleaning with brush and water in Shang Shui station.

lts very sad to see, some of these cleaners are maybe 60 to 70 years old, and those stupid kids are making their work harder.

Absolutely agree. Whilst we're at it, it's probably a good idea to add ordinary house paint as well to the list of licensed items. It's easier to clean off but can also be used as an offensive weapon if thrown at someone - very dangerous if it gets in the eyes.

RTHK is a fine example of not how to do it. It's government funded, yet it flies the Chinese flag upside down outside it's headquarter. That alone tells you everything you need to know. Can you imagine BBC doing that?
