Great fun on social media of these fugitive!
For those don't understand Chinese. If you wish to return to Hong Kong, how to speak Mandarin? Underneath, Cantonese in mandarins! Lol

This one says China's coast guard toying with them. See how obedience they are when in the hands of Chinese coast guard as opposed to Hong Kong police! Lol

Such revolutionaries, running like scared dogs. Che would be proud.... Not!

Funny, they said the smugglers are linked to Triads.
I thought Triads are bad guys looking to beat up "innocent democracy protesters"?
Maybe they are right, and the Triads were the ones who alerted the police, lol. That one guy at the boat's steering didn't look too concerned.

This is what I was saying before, Hong Kong education has been infiltrated with traitors ever since 1997. It was a 20 year long project by forces hostile to China, and it was just a matter of time when they release their forces. The foreign agents decided to release them now. Fortunately, and hopefully it's a one shot thing.

Funny thing is, all this time, we got people like our friend from the A-team asserting that the change in young minds is because they have been taught critical thinking! As if Chinese students, me included, wasn't capable of critical thinking before 1997! Lol

Remember this teacher? I posted a video of her outside her school with her students putting out 'pro-democrarcy' banners.

Now where in the western world is this allowed? I teach at my local college in the UK, and if I did that, I would be arrested on the spot for radicalising young minors!

So all the time teachers like her poisoning the young minds, the young minds do not have time to learn the most basics of writing!

This is a common media theme to denigrate Chinese and Asians in general. "They are not capable of critical or creative thinking". To me, since the popular discussion topic right now is "systemic racism", this is an obvious example. Then the usual tropes of knock off hand bags, or fake iPhones are rolled out. The irony is that it requires the reader to accept this statement at face value and not critically think about themselves. If you actually think about it, even if you are copying something, it sometimes requires a lot of creative thinking to get around shortcomings.

To control education is the crux of any colonialist project. If they are able to convince the indigenous people that their ways are inferior, then they become vulnerable. You look at how destitute some North American indigenous people can be, that is the legacy.

The sad thing was, this was the view of one of the members here in the past few weeks. He actually stated that on here! You don't need me to tell you who this might be. Lol

It's ironic that these guys started by protesting the extradition treaty... and ended up extraditing themselves to the Mainland.

You can say that! :)

Someone should write a Cantonese to Mandarin phrase book for us. For example:-

我 是 廣 東 人 <=== Chinese HK

禾 sir 广 东 ran <=== Mandarin

Finally! I can speak pou tong hua ...

:p

disappointed... how come they had to shout and didn't have a loud speaker... where were spotlights... how come when those people disobeyed commands and started their engines those engines weren't immediately blown away by automatic cannons...

lots of areas to improve on

The video seems really suspicious. It is quite grainy or dated, and the people don't really look like those wasted HK youths.
