Hong-Kong Protests

AssassinsMace

Lieutenant General

In one of the videos there's the guy acting like he's all innocent yet he posts on the internet the picture of Hong Kong police officers and their families and where they live so that they can be intimidated and attacked by others. If that happened in the US that guy wouldn't be out of jail.

I never though I would hear it. I mean the MSM and "pro-democracy" keeps on about how Hong Kong protest is about Hong Kongers fighting for democracy! And now here's democracy stearing you in the face. I was wondering how the MSM going ti explain this democracy in action!

Lol, I didn't have to wait long, on the BBC breafast radio, a journalist commented, and I quote: (from memory something like).

This morning, massive turnout from Hong Kongers to exercise their rights to vote........ and wait for it........ something which China is always trying to denial to the people of Hong Kong!

Lol, words fails me, how can something positive China is doing get turned into a negative!!??

News is just to control the population and manipulate opinion. We’ve discussed it to death by now, lol.

I have no respect for these rioters. They go after HK Police officers because they haven’t used true lethal force and they know it. Only 3 shooting incidents and no fatalities, I don’t believe more than 1 round was fired in any of them. Basic police training in North America would be multiple shots in centre of mass. It’s not unusual for people to be shot by police 5, 6 times.

If they really are so “ready to die” for the cause as the stupid videos they make, they would go after the PLA garrison. Instead all they do is shine lasers and run away when warned. All talk.

I had proposed a psychological theory behind the protests a few days ago. My research found this informative article. I urge people to take a look.

One of the key points, if this violence were truly political in nature, you don’t strike out at people like the “Uncle Law” or “Mr. Lee”, they are not authority figures. Same with vandalizing “Blue silk” businesses, most are not big businesses, just regular people trying to make a life too.

Another point that is raised, and I myself mentioned it. One of the ways to stop the violence is to shame them for it. Instead, Western MSM instead is glorifying it, entire US Congress has glorified it. “What a beautiful sight”, what a joke.

On top of that, the schools, they are clearly rotten to the core, mentioned a million times before. Instead of teaching the kids how to conduct themselves in civil society, these teachers have no shame to send them on the front line.

The article even mentioned house of worship as a way to stop them. Again, in HK, church has become a weapon of chaos just like the school system. I don’t blame religion itself, but it’s obvious that in HK, it has become a conduit for the foreign agenda.

How it can get so bad? Read here before that US/UK have been planning this for years before the handover. Not necessarily the unrest itself, but having all the people and infrastructure in place to carry out an operation to foment it and do so quickly. I don’t think there is any doubt now.

Makes you respect the post Tiananmen PRC leadership immensely. I bet the American bloc thought HK would continue to the the #1 city economically in China, triggering rioting would have a huge impact and even domino effect. Instead, even SZ has surpassed it and I would say most Chinese(in China and even overseas) want “cockroaches to be stomped”.

Judging by there deeds and rhetoric, these protestors have been tricked into believing that their only own personal individual freedom are true manifestation of democracy. They may not realize this but they are in fact trained anarchist with an ideology of hate toward China and anything Chinese. That is why they will attacked and abuse anyone speaking Mandarin, destroy Chinese owned businesses without regards to rule of law or social norms or plain human decency. They see the US, UK as allies to forward their agenda of hate and support their anti-social ideology. Democracy is just a slogan for them as they cannot comprehend that their own freedom ends when they start to infringe the rights of others including the mainland Chinese that they hate so much.

US/UK planning this ? Shows the desperation. HK is the low hanging fruit. I'd credit them if it were some mainland city. This really speaks volumes about how blunt the blade has become ( of these countries).

@Gatekeeper Thanks for the posts these months. Can you, as someone who has better access to the city and China, give a brief about the most dangerous of the pan-dems and their prospects in this election ? What do you think the results would be? Political poll results perhaps?

Sorry, time difference, been asleep. Anyway I posted just now, turn out is high and early, so sound like goods news for the establishment. Also independence group barly got more than 20%.

Good.
Btw, is 20% higher than usual or lower than the norm ? What would be the probable change in pan-dem numbers after this? Increase or decrease?

Commentary: Dragging down China with turmoil in Hong Kong simply illusion

Despite Beijing's strong and repeated opposition, the U.S. Senate on Tuesday passed the so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019.

By passing the bill, the Senate has not only shown ruthless indifference to the already chaotic situation on the ground and the need to end violence and restore order, but also tried to embolden the rioters in Hong Kong in order to serve their own political interests.

Anti-China politicians in Washington continue to collude with extremists in Hong Kong and grossly meddle in China's internal affairs. They are intentionally causing turmoil in the international financial hub in a bid to slow China's development. But history clearly shows that such attempts will fall flat.

Some U.S. officials' ineffective campaign against the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is one example. Despite they describing the China-proposed initiative as "predatory economics," it still enjoys growing global recognition. The reason is simple: the BRI has brought real benefits to all its participating partners.

And in the case of Hong Kong, China-hardliners in Washington will ultimately fail.

One major reason is that their plot goes against the aspirations and vital interests of the majority of Hong Kong residents. Their interference in Hong Kong has resulted in growing condemnation by the international community.

These sanctimonious opportunists appear to worry about the future of Hong Kong. Don't be fooled. They merely care about the future of their own political careers. Their poor and clumsy tactics won't fool sober minds worldwide.

The Chinese government has made it crystal clear that it will take resolute countermeasures in response to U.S. intervention in Hong Kong and safeguard its own sovereignty, security and development rights. Such determination can in no way be underestimated.

For those who have long hold the illusion of containing and making trouble for China, it's time to return to reality.

Reports of dirty tricks by the thugs. Because they are young, they can stand in the queue for a long time, also after they have voted, they go and stand in the queue again or join their friends in the queue. Thus making the queue look long.

The elderly, who's likely to vote for establishment parties look at the queue might get put off as they can't physically stand for any length of time. FB_IMG_1574590896821.jpg

Some report that YC join the queue after they have voted in order to make an impression of voting takes long time and discouraging elderly to vote. They roll over and over again. If you find this situation, pls ask the polling station to offer assistance to elderly to vote first and report to election commissioner and police:
