Key points:
  • Wang Liqiang is reported to be in an undisclosed Sydney location on a tourist visa
  • He has provided new information about the kidnapping of five booksellers from Hong Kong and their rendition to mainland China, according to Nine Newspapers
  • He has also reportedly revealed information about spies from Beijing infiltrating the Hong Kong democracy movement, Taiwan's elections and involvement in Australian affairs

I'm new to this so who were those "five booksellers from Hong Kong" and what's their fate?

EDIT after a quick google search
Two years later, the last of the vanished Hong Kong booksellers has been “freed” in China

This takes the biscuit! Typical, MSM taking this "BS" story and made it on their own front page.

They done this knowing the story is false, and the "victim" have withheld consent to release medical records so impede police investigation!

But they also know the average Joe Public ain't going indepth inquiry on this, and will just read/scan the front page and conclude that it's the bad commies again!

So where's the picture of "uncle Law" lying in the mogue after being stoned to death? Where's the picture of Mr Lee in intensive burn unit after being burnt alive?!

A classic lesson onFB_IMG_1574514115493.jpg how you manipulate and control the populace!

I think that it is pretty obvious that a fellow protestor took (or almost) took her eye out with a ball bearing. She would've gone to the press at the first moment if the wound was consistent with that of a beanbag.

On a lighter note, look what Joshua Wong posted on his twitter.

Yes, our friend Wong! This morning having breakfast before polling day!

Now in Hong Kong today, it's strangely very very quiet! Oh, it's polling day, and all the rioters deserted the street, and help all the riot sympathisers to canvass for last minute votes! Figures.

Now, I wonder how the western MSM square this one. On the one hand, these rioters are fighting for democracy. After all, the western MSM keeps calling them "pro-democracy". Because they FB_IMG_1574518193173.jpg don't have any! Right? But, here they all are standing for the council election. Something that did not happen under the Great British empire!

This is the stupidest thing I've seen; why have they turned themselves into a sad chicken? (Shouldn't the chicken have only 1 eye? LOL) Someone answers this ridiculous cartoon with a scene of a hanjian scum leading Japanese troops likely to attack his fellow Chinese, also captioned, "Sir, this way!"

Seeing that reminds me of this in 1945 when the great imperial japanese army (IJA) surrendered in Hong Kong!

And I'm still haunted by a rioters statement that they, IJA, behaves better than the Hong Kong police because they (IJA) did not enter the universities! Talk about revisionist tripe!

I think the original artwork was made by a mainland artist to mock the movement but Joshua Wong didn’t get the joke.

I don't think Australia is ever returning this guy back. Even if he's claims are not believed by them. They would get berated by western media if they did.
Interesting, this is.

We might need a separate thread for this if his claims are proven credible.

I don’t believe this guy for a second. First of all, his claims just conveniently happen to coincide with HK unrest, Taiwan elections, and uptick in Australian xenophobia? Just looks like he went through a laundry list of hot topics that would draw attention.

Second, he’s already arranging media interviews? What kind of spy that is “risking execution” put himself out there so publicly? There is the argument that “if he is in the public eye, then it’s harder to kill him”, but let’s face it, if he was really “a treasure trove of information”, PRC would do anything.

Finally, I would imagine that Australian intelligence services would stop him from doing this, less he risk their own operations.
