Western DEI officially setting up "a branch" in Hong Kong to include victims of the West into Asian developed games. Yes the popularity of Asian developed games they can't ignore except when it comes to representation. That's what it really is about because you think the people who think Asian gamers' opinions don't count going into what games are popular actually care about the disenfranchised of the world when they only concentrate on representing the victims of the West only? Even Western victims think they're more entitled than any other victim. They think opening up a branch in Hong Kong is their "in" to the rest of Asia to spread their ideology. I wonder if this is a case where they see Hong Kong activists are willing to destroy their own city for the West, they think they're going to be their foot soldiers here. Why Hong Kong with the reputation the Mainland has ruined it turning it into a police state? Wouldn't Taiwan be a more ideal place? I hope Beijing violates what "rights" they think they have and snuffs them out.
Can you uh, put it in simpler terms?

All these jargons confuse me more than the culture war ever could.

DEI is diversity, equity, and inclusion. It’s an attempt to add marginalized groups into mainstream society who feel they’re not being represented. Sounds great and all but they don’t include everyone. It’s only a select few that get this attention because as usual if they include everyone, then people who they want to be given attention get lost in the crowd.

DEI is literally being pushed by liberals in Western governments. In their myopic view, they only see people who they recognize as being excluded from the mainstream coming from being victims only of Western history. The problem is they now want the non-Western world to embrace what they’re attempting to do. They didn’t victimize these people.

Computer gaming is now about as popular and make as much money as Hollywood movies. That’s why these Western liberals are targeting this industry. Anything that’s popular, they want to use it to spread their ideology. Asian developed games have become popular in the world so now these Western liberals are attempting to force Asian game developers to include their ideas of inclusion so the victims of society that they only recognize are represented in Asian games. That means like they’ve done with Western games, they want all main characters in Asian games to reflect including only them as if this will correct the wrongs the West has done to these people. Asians didn’t victimize these people so why should Asians have to pay for the crimes of the West?

Ironically they don’t include Asians. Where are the Asians in Western gaming and other media. You’ll see white women, gays and everyone of their subgroups, and a select few minorities in their plans but no Asians which are the largest ethnic group in the world they’re leaving out and now they want Asians to exclude themselves out of their own games they’re making? They in fact are ignoring the rest of the non-Western world who are the majority of the world. Where is their representation? They’re committing the same crimes they claim are being committed on those few they choose who they think deserve attention. That’s the outrage because as Westerners do, they want to create an elite club that excludes mostly everyone else to say these people are more important so why should anyone do what they say when they’re guilty of their own crimes they say are being committed?

Witcher 4 tech demo good. Ciri's new voice actor is growing on me already.

Playing as an ambiguously gendered penguin in Mario Kart Woke World: awesome.

Nintendo should bring Chris Hemsworth in to provide voiceover as Dementus for Knockout Tour:

On the other side of the coin, a preppy young Nathan Drake as 007 in First Light is an ominous sign for the direction of the franchise under Amazon ownership.
