She likens how the war broke out to the background of the Battle of Chibi (aka

In her explanation, the NATO would be Cao Cao (曹操) and Russian would be Sun Quan (孙权). Cao Cao who was the strongest warlord of China at the time. His regime dominated the northern China which covered the most prosperous part of the country. He was ambitious and ready to take the whole country by force. But he was facing resistance and pushbacks from other warlords on the south. Among them, Sun Quan on the southeast was only second to Cao in terms of military and economic strength.

As for Ukraine, the girl thinks it would be the province of Jingzhou (荆州) which was ruled by another warlord Liu Biao (刘表) and then shortly his son Liu Cong (刘琮). As shown in the map below, Jingzhou was south of Cao's land and was on the upstream of the Yangtz river which Sun was downstream to the east.

If Cao could take Jingzhou, his army would be able to send warships and troops to flank attack Sun downstream on the Yangtz river. On the other hand, if Sun could get Jingzhou on his side or even annex it, he would be able to secure his flank and to boost his strength against Cao.

At the beginning, Cao was able to take Jingzhou without fight because Liu Cong surrendered. Cao then threatened Sun and demanded his submission. Sun and his regime had to respond firmly and fight back for existence. The Battle of Chibi broke out when the two armies ran head to head on the Yangtz river east of the Jingzhou city.

Whether or not the situations now and then are even comparable, the little girl in the video was showing how clear she was in her line of thinking. Given her age, it's amazing how much she knew about what's going on in the world, the background and dynamics of the war, not to mention her familiarity with the novel. I am even a little bit skeptical of if it is truly an unstaged recording.

What I think funny is that, at the end of the video, the girl implies that Zelensky's fate will be like that of Liu Cong in the novel.

Liu Cong was the yongest and the favorite son of Liu Biao. After his father died, Liu Cong expelled his brother and made himself the ruler with the support of the local strongmen. His supporters then forced him to surrender to Cao because they were scared of Cao's formidable army. In the novel, Liu Cong was murdered by Cao soon after his surrender. Though in the real history, Cao actually rewarded Liu Cong generously for giving up without fight and it's unclear how Liu's life was ended years later.

This map shows where Jingzhou was. Its capital city was highlighted in a blue circle. I also marked where Cao Cao and Sun Quan were. Note that Jingzhou was the name of both the province and its capital city. So to take Jingzhou would mean to take the whole province, although the city of Jingzhou and its vicinity had most of the population and wealth.
