Looks like it was dumb of them to saber rattle without backing up words with actions. Going forward no one will believe them, even if the threat is real.
According to my father-in-law, the flights are still operating, at least near Taoyuan Airport. I'm an expat, so is my wife. Extended families are still in RoC
