They look impressive. We should never underestimate the "power" of women. Many women are now involved in the Armed Forces of several countries in Asia and the West. However, having said that, as an ex-Veteran involved in past conflicts, I still believe that women should never be used in combat roles especially in land forces hand-to-hand combat with opposition forces, as the physical make-up of women (unless they are the Amazon types) is different from men. However, intellectually/technologically they can be superb, surpassing even male personnel. I stand corrected.

Thank you for reply. I agree that there are physical differents between men and women, but I don't think it's a good reason to forbidden women form those roles. Both history and sciences have shown that women can be as good soldiers as men. If women can prove themselves to meet the requirements of any certain role in military, they deserve it.

On the other hand, I don't think every woman are capable and willing to serve in combat roles. So what I am saying is, give them the opportunity, but don't make it a compulsory one.

And here's some pictures of a lady with a very technologically, yet still very dangerous role in army.

Mjr. Liu Jing, Weapon and Ammunition Destruction Specialist, Armaments Department, Beijing MR.
