Moderate and 'radical' Democrats rallied to counter an 'unelectable' Donald Trump. Now that they've seemingly secured the Executive branch of government, that coalition is slowly dissolving. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has already started throwing shade at the party, and I'm not so sure Pelosi has a clear pathway to being re-elected Speaker of the House. As an outsider looking in, the Democratic party still has Bill Clinton and Obama's ugly stains all over it, while the likes of Sanders and Warren continue their drive to bring the party further to the left.
Hmm so the factions are drawn over ideology line? They don't have factions that revolves around individuals?

I have to admit, I like AOC
Hi sndef888,

Me too, I like my woman tough.
Bernie Sanders and AOC's brand of socialism might work in a small state like New Hampshire, but adopting it nationwide will see the country become bankrupt. AOC's knowledge of history is laughably delusional and deficient, nor does she have the verbal or intellectual skills to debate her cause outside of playing the woke card. This is evident whenever she gets challenged out in public or on camera, and she becomes immediately flustered. Her "socialism or death" narrative is intrinsically appealing to the younger generation, but experience and wisdom would say these ideas are highly impractical. With America being known as the "land of opportunity", I'm not sure how I'd feel if everyone is given the benefits and rewards without having to put in hard work. To sum it up - AOC is a pretty face, but I'm not sure there's not much brains to her. Just my two cents anyway.

I'd much rather see someone like Tulsi Gabbard lead the Democrats. Too bad she isn't woke or liberal enough for the party to rally behind her. Not that it matters anyway, I'm not American thank goodness.

To a certain degree, they do. Ex: Sanders and his ultra liberal backers. Check out reddit for the fanatical support for him. However, that is mainly because Sanders is very very loud. In short, if another person who is like Sanders in terms of ideology and charisma comes up, they will support them. To be honest, the Dems only unified to fight against Trump. Otherwise there would have been internal fighting during the primaries, and many people wouldn't vote. Biden won not because of his policies, but because of Trump's idiotic handling of Covid 19. If it weren't for Covid 19, the Democrats, imo, would possibly be dealt a very severe blow and very divided, and Trump could have possibly won due to his handling of China.

She lost like a lot during the primaries. Her non-interventionist and co-existance policies are extremely not popular among the Democrats, and definitely not among the American people.

Faded into the distance unfortunately, hope she makes some sort of a political comeback. I don't think she's experienced enough to make a Presidential run, that said the Hawaii Senate seat is up for grabs in 2022. Honestly I was in love when she absolutely sucker-punched Kamala Harris in the gut during the Deocratic primaries, effectively knocking her out of the presidential race.

Woke Dems hate her since she didn't vote to impeach Trump and stated to appear on Fox News. They thought Tulsi is a Republican plamt. I heard Tulsi got connection with RSS and Hindutva

Stinks of the way how Trump's been linked with Putin and the Kremlin... Honestly if Democrats want to win over moderates and centrist-conservatives, well then Tulsi is their girl.
