Hendrik the Chinese fanboy is back with his silly posts

maybe you didn't know but a ice breaker is not considered a warship

in basic English a ice breaker does not constitute a warship

aship is a ship you said that is uneconomical to built ship with nuclear proplusion less than 75000 ton What is the difference in economic between warship and civilian ship as fas as operating cost they are the same Some people does not use their logic here or lack of it

An icebreaker can sometimes get stuck longer than planned. And the fuel consumption can multiply with very thick ice. For this reason, different rules apply to nuclear power plants for icebreakers than for other ships.

But majority of ice breaker are non nuclear how you explain that !. I though the real reason why nuclear is preferrable because if they got stuck at least they have power and not froze to death because lack of heat specially for Russia with large ice zone in their northern border

If icebreakers are not far from bases, they can be supplied from the air or evacuated if necessary. This does not apply to an icebreaker that is supposed to keep the north passage clear and remains in the ice for weeks.
