Is this date - 26. March - in any special way related to a certain important event in CHina ??
That day doesn't have much significance in China, probably just somebody coughed a date that means "end of March" or whatnot.

Not sure if I have too much wish-full thinking or am I colour blind, but all Your arguments about internal work and cleaning the deck are moot since this IS grey paint !

If You think this is still the same rust or whatever and NOT grey I'm wrong - and need to go to the doctor ! - but following my perception this is clearly a lifting platform on the left and a thin but anyway clearly visible narrow strip of gray color !??

So by now I have the feeling as in the Su-35-thread: some are still questioning and arguing why NOT, when there are already clear images available.

First a few layers of primers have to be applied, only when one layer is cured then the next layer to be applied and so forth. Now, what can be seen so far is that they didn't even begin applying the primer coat yet, otherwise you shouldn't see that kind of patchwork looking here and there. Latest pics are very blur to observe properly if they are proceeding with the paintwork or just lighting due to the time of day the picture was taken.

Pardon, but again and again: This images shows a small thin layer of grey paint !! Is that so difficult to see or am I colourblind ? (Could indeed be true, since at the Keyforum there's quite a strange discussion telling the J-20 green and the H-6K white !?)

As long as the rest of the hull still in that frabication-stage protection coating, that small strip of grey is irrelevent. Only full-hull scale work is worth mentioning now.

BTW, if anyone here still buys in the "important date" mumbo-jumbo, the closest one will be April 23rd, Navy Day in China.

Indeed but maybe not really irrelevant ... isn't there a Chinese saying: even the longest journey begins with the first step !? :)
