I don't care for the articles written by Kyle Mizokami..he has a built in bias against China. And I'm sure if China needed to they could deploy Liaoning where they need to. Is the ship fully combat capable? I don't know....and of course just because we did not see certain events does not mean they did not take place. There are several operations I've not seen from the PLAN CV...which I won't get into in this post because despite my 20 years of experience serving the USN some of you have a bias against me and my experience. I do not want to create contention..

Like anything else. It normally take years before there is confirmation

I agree.

Most of those photo op are designed to evoke patriotic feeling, pride to the country . That is why they normally shot during the day to showcase the full glory of the carrier and their air wing. Shooting it at night you don't see anything except blinking light

I think not...observe;

Who can show me night ops of other countrys (...) United Kingdom?

Royal Navy executed some of the most famous and important carrier night/limited visibility operations. Strictly speaking, they were the first nation to take nighttime strike ops as one of primary FAA capabilities, back in mid-late 1930s. :)

Only idiot would think that war only happened during broad daylight . And I don't think that the planner of PLAN are idiot.

It's interesting and quite complicated question. "Night ops" is far too generic.
For example, in USN, MN and, iirc, Indian Navy fully capable day/night squadrons fly exclusively two seaters. Single seaters are restricted to relatively simple night-time ops.

Full combat ops, I don't know, but here is the MiG-29K testing: Night take-off and landing.

Nice video. I know the video is in Russian but is this aboard the ADM"K"? I ask because I do not see a jet blast deflector in use. I'm think the Indians do not have a Jet blast deflector. Thanks!

ps.. my apologizes to the Russians for my little insults if this is indeed aboard the Russian CV.

pss..I found the same video declaring this night ops are aboard the IN CV..

I've seen France, the UK< and India do it.

The UK's jup jet carriers and then the CATOBAR they had before are all out of serce now, so it is moot for now...but you better believe they will have the QE class capabnle of operating at night.

France does now as does India.
